Felty Roses

There's no flower more delicate than a rose, I feel; and nothing that looks better in those tresses than blooming flowers themselves. Experimenting with felt roses...

Made both of these for two beautiful girls I know - my husband's niece and a friend's little one year old.

Ivory On Maroon

• Wanted to make something neutral for this 10yr. old so she could carry it with a lot of different dresses.
• Layered flower made with Ivory felt centered with earthy puffs on a head-band wrapped in brick-red ribbed ribbon.

 

Lemon Magenta Twister

• Made his to go with a lemon dress I gifted to a friend's one year old.
• Magenta tissue twister centered with a bob made from lemon satin ribbon that also covers the head-band itself.

Non-Traditional Holiday Inspirations

Red and Green sure shout Christmas out loud, but I decided to play with some other colors that still send the warmth of the holiday season but without the raging reds and greens. Both made for my little girl :)

Twisters I Love

Pat on the pack... this is the 2nd set of work; and I'm glad to feel the passion and commitment towards this. :) Also thanks to hubby for giving me the extra time-off-baby to pursue this hobby.
